I68 Crisis Casualty Care Course (C4)
I68 Crisis Casualty Care Course (C4)
The I68 Crisis Casualty Care Course (C4) is a comprehensive medical training program designed to prepare individuals to respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies in high-stress environments. The course is divided into an Academic Day and a Range Day, beginning with in-depth classroom instruction on S-MARCH (Security, Massive hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia/Head injury). Students learn not only the steps, but the critical decision-making process required when seconds matter.
Training then transitions to the I68 Training Facility, where students apply these principles through realistic, hands-on practical exercises. Instruction is led by a Special Operations Physician Assistant and former Special Forces Medic, ensuring real-world experience guides every block of instruction. Each student is issued an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), which they will train with throughout the course and take home upon completion. While students receive the Stop the Bleed certification, the scope of C4 goes far beyond—covering medical response for incidents ranging from vehicle accidents to penetrating trauma, including gunshot wounds. This course is designed to build confidence, competence, and decisive action in critical moments.
