Course Breakdown:
Day 1 (as applicable based on I68 Course Graduation):
Focuses on the foundational skills for pistol and rifle, including loading and unloading procedures, mastering shooting fundamentals, and building confidence in handling each firearm. Participants begin with pistol work or rifle zeroing and fundamental shooting positions, ensuring a solid base for tactical applications.
Day 2:
Advances pistol techniques or transitions into rifle training, emphasizing movement, magazine changes, and target engagement under dynamic conditions. This day builds the framework for transitioning between rifle and pistol effectively.
Day 3:
The heart of the course, Day 3 centers on rifle-to-pistol transitions, shooting in depth and laterally, engaging multiple targets, and mastering barrier and cover techniques. Strong-side and weak-side shooting drills test your adaptability in real-world scenarios.
Day 4:
For those who progress through the entire course, Day 4 is an intense culmination of skills. Participants execute seamless transitions, shoot while moving, and engage in multiple stress shoots designed to simulate high-pressure environments.
